...since I had an evening to sit down and upload some more poetry by Joey the Janitor. Here's one of his recent ones, from a couple weeks ago. More to come in the next few days.

I never posted these videos here.

A while back, I filled out an HR survey at work and won a video camera. The day I got it, I had it on my desk, behind my monitor, charging away. It was totally invisible amongst the piles of bullshit work I have to trudge through day to day.

One day, Joey, the janitor at my office, came around to clean up, like he usually does on Thursdays. Out of nowhere, he mentioned that he wrote poetry and asked if I'd like to hear some. So, I grabbed the camera and after a day or so on youtube, he became a company-wide celebrity.

Here's the original video, a poem called "Hog on the Run"



This became a weekly thing. We record every Thursday. We both look forward to it all week. Who knows what Joey has "from the archives".

Here's another one about drinking with a particular woman. It's called "Vodka Bitch".



It's like Wesley Willis and Chuck Bukowski had a kid.

Anyway, there are well over 30 of these. I suppose I'll post them here as we make them. I'd love for someone to see them and call him up and give him a chance at Poet Laureate.

I forgot to post this here. Had it ready to post, and then she woke up and I never got around to actually hitting "post". So, it's sat for a week as a draft. Anyway, here it is.

• 14:54 worn out. Took Pheebs to the zoo today. She enjoyed it more than the aquarium, but that just means that we had to chase her everywhere. #
